Here I am, Lord...

Lord, I love you and I praise Your holy name! Thank you for never giving up on us even when we fall, even when we get distant, when we leave Your side, when we get fickle, when we get down, when we get sidetracked, when we let the world take precedence. Lord, You are always there ready to pick us up and dust us off.

We are so undeserving but You are such a gracious, loving, forgiving God. Thank you! Continue to woo us back to You, continue to fight for us and our hearts, continue to speak truth to us and drown out the enemy’s lies and distractions. You are faithful, dependable and always at work. Thank you Father! Thank you!

Draw us to deep intimacy with You. Lord we desire to hear Your voice over all the clutter and pollution.

Here I am, Lord. Speak to me I pray….

You are right that I will never leave you nor forsake you. You are my beloved child, and I rejoice in our time together and your desire to grow closer to Me. There are many things in the world that want to draw you away, you have to fight for our time. You have to listen for My voice. I am speaking to you and all my children. I desire a close walk with you. There is a richness found in a relationship with Me that cannot be found in the world.

I placed a void in the human heart that can only be filled by Me. I created you for a relationship with Me, not rules or religion – relationship which is two-sided. Seek Me and you will find Me.

Trust Me and give Me your burdens. Fretting and worrying does nothing but weigh down your heart. It does not fix it or make it better. Praying to Me, giving it to Me does. The things the enemy means for harm, I can bring good out of. I can redeem.

Look at Joseph sold into slavery by his brothers. I used that to put him in a place of authority and dignity that led him to saving his father and brothers from the famine. Trust Me and My timing. I see all, know all and I have an amazing plan!

The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.” Deuteronomy 31:8

“You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.” Genesis 50:20

“Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Matthew 11:29-30
